Memory of the Subconscious by Kate in Santa Barbara

This body of work was displayed at the Weisman Museum. All work done with Pen in Bristol paper. Sizes vary with 9 x 12 in., 19 x 24 in, and 5 x 7 in. This body of work is a direct reflection of the subconscious and how that stores itself in memories of my background. The way I interact with movement and the free flowing forms of the subconscious results in a tedious, yet freeing process. I draw a parallel from the movement within and created by herself: an ever-changing, ever-moving, ever-communicating means of describing something without using a language spoken by means of words.
