Mei Ming’s Dragon in my room by Emily Grimston in Auckland

Mei Ming’s Dragon in my room

More lockdown shenanigans ???? This dragon is from one of my favourite stories from my childhood, “Mei Ming and the Dragon’s Daughter” Retold by Lydia Bailey, illustrated by Martin Springett ? Mei Ming’s village is suffering from a severe drought. She must journey high into the mountains, to find a source of water, guarded by a dragon. With the help of the dragon’s daughter, they sing the dragon to sleep so that Mei Ming can release the water without angering the dragon. ????
