Medusa: The charm by Rashmi in Mumbai
Medusa: The charm
A reimagining of Medusa not as a monster, but as a presence—both feared and mesmerizing. This piece captures the duality of her existence: beauty and danger, fragility and power, silence and intensity.
The serpents weave through her hair like living thoughts, each carrying a different emotion—protection, rage, instinct, and survival.
The fractured textures across the face suggest a transformation. The eyes one calm , but other vengeful gaze into our soul the silver white on one side of hair show the beginning of transformation..
They called her monster, it was never her gaze that turned men to stone but the truth they refused to see.

Meet the Artist
Mumbai, IndiaI'm Bsc Psychology student but beyond that I'm someone who's madly, insanely love with art . I don't know what inspires me it's just ,I love it . You don't need a reason , just a feeling .I can't imagine a world where i can't do art. It's just like love at first drawing. (I drawn it and fell in love with this beauty of creating) . For me it's more than a skill , a magical ability bestowed on you. I love making painting. I don't know it's peaceful or not but for me it's my flow , my muse, my way of existing. It's like my whole senses and world fades when I paint. It's just so feel like - it's indescribable, unexplainable. It can only be felt so come with me on this journey through my art. And if my work resonate with you, then you’re already part of this journey.
