Meditation by Sarah Li in Phoenix

This piece was created for a motorcycle enthusiast. He wanted a piece to display in his bar that would show him and his wife riding out West on his motorcycle. I remember during our consultation he told me that riding his motorcycle was his form of meditation. I loved that he said that and I tried to imagine what that was like as I was painting. I gave it a semi realistic/abstract feel and incorporated splashes of maroon to honor the colors on his Indian motorcycle. He was ecstatic with the piece and later told me that every time he looks at it, it brings him back to riding out West. I absolutely love creating visual stories based on what the client tells me!
