Meet the Artist
Northcote, AustraliaStephanie is a Melbourne-based artist that will happily work across many medium whether it’s a large wall, canvas, teepee, paper, you name it! She has been painting since she was old enough to hold a paintbrush and is in her happy place when she translates her ideas into artworks.
Inspiration is drawn from funny little moments in life that are relatable - sometimes adding a surreal aspects to emphasise the magic in these moments. Some of the reoccurring themes that present in her work are people in curious moments, quirky characters and how they navigate the world and challenges around them, our relationship to flora and fauna, and the occasional mind bending colourful visuals.
When I’m not painting, I enjoy a solo camp where I have time to reflect, meditate, and swim in rivers. I also enjoy other crafty activities like book binding, wreathe making, wood work, and much more.
