Man on the Train by Victoria Stillman Art in West Chester

This is part of a collection of works I've recently started that focuses on the stories we tell with just our hands. This piece is done with watercolor and colored pencils and is one of my favorites of the collection so far. I was drawn to this subject in particular because it reminded me that we share so much in common just by being human - specifically our need to love and our desire to announce our love. The man in the painting loved a person so much that he tattooed their initial on his ring finger, just how we used to carve the names of the ones we loved into trees when we were younger.
