Maizadar Foods Parramatta by Colourgyp in Cronulla
Maizadar Foods Parramatta
Mazaidar Foods is a Pakistani and Indian restaurant in Parramatta.
The centre piece of the work is Minar-E-Pakistan, with the base shaped like a flower it is a modern building reflecting Mughal/Islamic and modern architecture, the location is primarily used for political and religious events.
Having a monument that holds such significance in the centre of the restaurant reminds us that food brings people together to stay connected, there is an assortment of colours and flavours, we learn about different cultures and it overall provides necessity and comfort. The fundamental flower base gives the centre piece structure, it embodies joy and pleasure, which is incorporated throughout the whole work. Embracing the reason people come into restaurants.
This mural was showcased in the 2023 Preliminaries for students sitting exams in NSW.
