Lupine Escape by Piper Kunst in Salt Lake City

Lupine Escape

While on the east coast, I was surrounded by hues of green and blue, and was immersed in the wildflowers in the region. The most beautiful, in my opinion, is the lupine. I love how they represent many colors; as they fit well with my complex color pallets. This work was inspired from a photograph of a misty morning in the hills of Vermont. However, it also fits with that of a rumpling ocean. The ambiguity of this piece hold so many layers and meaning of the east coast, and it also relatable. It is a client favorite as it is peaceful and intriguing.
