I’ve been feeling tender and fragile in the person that I am After experiencing so much change in my life I felt I had to rebuild myself my community and my support network This comes with feelings of fear uncertainty and also excitement for the freedom I’ve felt like ever day has required me to dig deep and push myself in one way or another This painting is an expression of the fragile strength I had to call upon within me

Hobart, AustraliaI’ve been a professional artist since graduating from VCA with my bachelor of Fine arts in 2014. My work is inspired by my life, it is dependent on my environment, relationships and emotional states. I rely on the process of remembering, memories and dreams, to tell stories and create spaces filled with feeling.
Making paintings and drawings has been a form of therapy for me. I started drawing portraits when I was 12 and slowly moved into abstract painting. It is a way for me to find balance and to make sense of the world around me.
