Lucy & Yak Bristol Pop-Up Shop Mural by Molly Hawkins in Bristol

Molly collaborated with eco-fashion brand Lucy & Yak to create this loud, colourful and exciting mural for their month long pop up in Stokes Croft, Bristol. This was a fun project that got a lot of positive feedback from passers by on the busy high street. From the initial design (pictured below, left), Molly adapted the design to fit amongst the shop windows to create a bold and striking entrance. The brief for this mural centred around visual imagery for recycling and fast fashion. Lucy & Yak pride themselves on being sustainable and circular by using recycled and organic materials and by providing a repair and up-cycle initiative, encouraging people to think more about where their clothes will end up. To work with a brand or company that has a good ethos and positive impact on the world is an important factor for Bristol mural artist Molly, who strives to collaborate with people and causes that lead to positive changes we want to see more of. ‘It was such a pleasure working with Molly.
