Love for the G.O.A.T
The peace is and installation at Filbert st Garden. We designed it as a memorial for one of the baby goats 🐐 who recently past in the community garden. The goat's name was Brie and her passing was a great sorrow for the garden and especially the youth in the community, so to refresh a little joy we designed and installed this to remind all of how she was loved n cared for.
Meet the Artist
Baltimore, United StatesMelku's is mostly self-taught his developed love for drawing guided him to pursuing his art as a Artist after college and later pursuing his drive as a Muralist full time (in 2016), creating Canvas paintings with his preferred medium acrylic and soft pastels; however Melku explores any medium that best flow with the vision and message of the art piece.
Personally Melku is Influenced by African art, and portraiture. His art features bold colors making his paintings easily recognizable by his primary color palette and use of the African liberation colors throughout his paintings.(red, gold, green and black)
Among his professional works he has 7 murals in various communities and gardens throughout his Home town Baltimore city along with his current project; summer (2026) working with Baltimore city youth teaching them the process of mural design and installation as they create new Art works at a community garden in Curtis Bay.
