Love Empathy Respect Dignity by Nadina in London

This mural was commisssioned by art organisation Devonshire Collective as part of a series of pubic art pieces celbrating the Turner Prize being held in Eastbourne. The artwork was created in collabration with local young people and migrants using the services of a charity called Sanctuary which supports asylum seekers settled in the UK. The design of the mural was generated through workshops and the painting was done with the young people and migrants as well. The aim of the mural was to provide a more positive depiction of the migrant experience. The mural was painted using emulsion paint.
