I have been a freelance illustrator and artist for most of my life, even before I graduated with BA(Hons) Illustration & Animation in 2005 from Southampton Solent University. I am also an experienced Primary school teacher (though a full-time illustrator/artist these days) and a father to 4 young children, so have been immersed in children’s literature for many, many years! I am able to work in a wide range of styles, using a variety of techniques and traditional media (pen, ink, pencil, paint) , as well as digital. I specialise in children's book illustration, but also create one-off art pieces. I love drawing and painting....From simple cute cartoons, to academic realistic, and everything in-between!
