Livid kool korner 2017 by Rich Geraghty in Perth

I am a self taught artist living in Perth, Western Australia. For as long long as I can remember I've been drawing and painting on any thing and everything. I can remember sitting on the dining room table as a child watching my dad draw portraits and being in complete awe of him. Having spent the first 13 years of my life in South Africa and a further 4 in Indonesia, my style oozes a unique mixture of these cultures with a touch of 90's surf Inspiration thrown in there. I use a mixed media of acrylics, inks and aerosol to produce loud, colourful works with attention to intricate detail. Through these works I hope invoke us all to be resourceful, to re-use, recycle and to take care of our planet by treading lightly, slowing down and getting creative.
