Deeptha (Art name: Paperkaari) is an architect and urban planner who has returned to art and design as a way to heal and reconnect with herself. Throughout her career spanning education, practice and research she has used illustrations as a tool to effectively share stories, build narratives and capture data. She can sketch both live and from references ranging from portraits, travelogues, buildings and spaces, and also captures experiences like weddings/events etc. She specialises in pen and ink (b/w & colour), but is also comfortable playing with graphite and colour pencils, crayons/pastels, acrylic and watercolour paints.
