Live Painting for Art Basel Miami
“Neon Awakening” is a live UV-light painting created during a performance in a nightclub environment.
Using fluorescent acrylics, spray details and rapid-movement brushwork, this piece was formed under black light, allowing each stroke to glow intensely as the artwork evolved in real time.
The visual composition represents an awakening of energy — a central burst expanding outward, echoing music, rhythm and crowd interaction.
Every colour was applied in reactive layers that shift dramatically between normal light and UV illumination, making the artwork a dual-state piece with hidden textures and luminous details.
This canvas belongs to my series of live UV performances, where painting becomes both artwork and show.
Sealed and ready to display.
Medium: mixed media
Collection: fantasy
Meet the Artist
Southport, AustraliaI started painting murals in 2012 on the streets of San Fernando, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since then, I’ve traveled across 15 countries, including Mexico, the United States, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Greece and Indonesia, creating large-scale murals and participating in urban art festivals across the world.
My work blends surrealism with psycho-visual storytelling, creating bold, symbolic compositions that transform public spaces. I’ve collaborated with cultural events, councils, brands and community projects, always bringing a strong visual identity and a highly detailed, immersive style.
Whether it’s a mural, live painting, tattoo design or creative workshop, my focus is always the same: delivering powerful art that connects with people and elevates the environment.
