Dread Rock Arts Inc. is a dynamic and innovative visual arts company that specializes in creating unique and captivating artworks across various mediums. Established in 1995 as a young graffiti artist practising the aerosol control led its founder to employment in private commissions, outdoor advertising and other forms of invitations in the fine art world. Simultaneously, Dreda was winning competitions and awards, while breaking the creative ice in introducing the city of Johannesburg to quality street and graffiti. There are many firsts attached to Dreda's name such as being inducted into the international Hip-Hop movement known as the XMEN Worldwide Crew. Currently, our team of talented artists and creatives, namely ceramicist, sculptor, multidisciplinary and visual artist, Marcia Majavu as well as our assisting team of rising artists are passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling and bringing imaginative ideas to life.
