I’m an artist who’s really inspired by flowers, plants, and nature in general. I’ve always been drawn to the small details and little moments that most people pass by without noticing. Creating art is kind of how I slow down and connect with that. I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember myself, and 2020 ha been a year that pushed me to leave my position in criminal justice field and pursue art as a career. I mostly work across murals, watercolor botanical pieces, and live guest portraits at events. I also participate in local festivals and markets where I sell my prints, notecards and bookmarks that I make of my art. I’d say I’m really strong in composition, detail, and translating natural elements into something stylized but still true to life. I care a lot about making my work feel thoughtful and intentional, not just pretty. I’m always trying to grow, experiment, and push myself creatively, but everything I do always comes back to my love for nature and creating things that make people feel something.
