Life in abundance

Indoor stairwell of hospital environment. To get a theme, a questionnaire was sent around the patients currently in the wards attached to this area. Asking the (mostly elderly) patients what their preference for imagery would be , the subjects were noted and brought to inclusion of the overall design. The ' Life in abundance' theme is clear which was the overwhelming desire of the patients. The mural was painted using high quality emulsion and then sealed with a water based varnish
