I am an artist based in Southeast Wisconsin whose work centers on painting, drawing, and material study. I've been drawing and painting since childhood, developing my technical foundation largely through self-directed study and practice. Working primarily in oil, acrylic, and graphite, I develop each piece through preparatory studies, compositional testing, and refinement before committing to its finished form. My work engages traditional and figurative modes, drawing on historical approaches to image-making, with close attention to structure, light, and form.
