Since I was a nipper, all I can remember is wanting to create. Is it was the only thing that bought me peace in my early years, and now at the age of 27 I can honestly say that the urge to express, experiment and immerse myself fully in experience of raw creativity still flows through my veins as prominent as the need to breath, to think and to feel - as that is what I through my process. It has been the biggest tool for me in my life, not just professionally - but personally too, it heals me. I truly become one with my artistic expression.
Since graduating from studying contemporary art at university in 2019 I have embarked on numerous creative opportunity's to broaden my skill set in creative knowledge. Being a self starter I took it on myself to invest in various online courses that specialised in learning digital drawing and concept art, this then lead me to working with two different companies in temporary intern positions in animation and digital concept art. Whilst still harnessing everything that I had learnt at university; painting, sculpture, life drawing, photography and film.
Whilst still craving a permanent position in the creative industry I decided to venture into a tattoo apprenticeship, I have now been tattooing professionally for almost 3 years and have recently just become co-owner to my own studio, and have now chosen to continue my lead artist position part time. This has not only allowed me to have creative freedom in my professional work with custom design's and tattoo flash but also giving me the opportunity to invest more time into my personal projects - including art commissions of all shapes, sizes and styes, digital prints, logo and marketing design jobs, assisting on large mural jobs for restaurants such as Tortilla, writing and working on my own animated cartoon and creating a personal collection of paintings and artwork.
Throughout all of these ventures I have had to work with numerous briefs and different design teams, as well as many, many different customers to help their vision come to life through permanent body art or large scale artworks to match their home aesthetic. Therefore, I do not only have a great confidence in my skill set and creative vision as an independent artist but also know I can work along side any creative brief or idea and fully execute the project along side of the client for the best standard of work.
