Sometimes I feel like breaking all the rules “L’apres-midi d’un Fauve” 2015, Oil on Canvas ******* Inspired by a visit to Paris and the Jardins de Luxembourg, I was struck by the dappled patterns of light falling on the trees and the hidden sculptures of #zadkine sheltering between, among them my namesake #rebecca the #watercarrier which led me to the #museezadkine I imagined the sculptures as #fauns come to life and dancing beneath the foliage ???????????????????????????????????????? And a little play on words, voilà! L’aprés-midi d’un Fauve” emerged! ?????????
