Krishna-Leela mural concept and execution
Krishna-leela is an Indian + Sri Lankan restaurant. The name "Krishna-Leela" derives from the story of Hindu God "Krishna". Leela is Krisna's devotee and lover. However, it is "Leela" is also known to be the female energy of Lord Krishna. I was inspired by this story and Sri Lankan traditional patterns, colours to create this Mural.
Meet the Artist
Paris, FranceI'm a Paris based creative director, artist and entrepreneur with a mind that craves to create, a heart that wants to capture the true essence of culture in various settings and incorporates it into content that creates a connection. That’s what I do.
I have been in the creative industry for the past 14 years. My love for skateboarding and design drove me to start Sri Lanka’s first skateboarding brand in 2012. And I was recognized at the Asia Pacific Young Entrepreneur Award in 2016. I've also had the honor of being featured at the 2020 Sri Lanka Design Festival. With my second start-up, KiCo Design Studio, I have been working in industries such as sports, food, fashion, entertainment, and education, while collaborating with global brands such as Ironman 70.3, Nike, Mercedes-Benz fashion week and with non-profit organizations such as the United Nations, Carter center, Save the Children, the US embassy and more.
I've had the pleasure of driving successful marketing campaigns, creating content, drawing large scale murals, building successful brands, managing talented and diverse teams of creatives.
