In September 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the Camden Inspire Festival, where I did a live painting session with Camden Open Air Gallery.
Amid the buzzing streets of Camden, I painted a powerful portrait of Kobe Bryant, celebrating not just his legacy as an athlete, but his mindset of resilience and dedication qualities that deeply resonate with my own creative journey.
The energy of the crowd, the pace of the city, and the raw immediacy of live painting made this experience unforgettable. It was a tribute to excellence, discipline, and the power of art in public spaces. Painting Kobe in front of a live audience pushed me to stay present and connected; it reminded me why I create: to move people and tell stories that inspire.
Hi, I'm Vasundhara, an artist inspired by stories, moods, and the quiet power of observation. My work moves across styles: from conceptual pieces and bold sports portraits to soft, personal expressions and playful experiments. I believe painting is not just about creating something beautiful, it's about choosing what to express and how.
What I love most about creating is that moment when instinct takes over, when I stop thinking and start feeling my way through the canvas. I’m also passionate about trying new styles, breaking patterns, and reclaiming creative control when needed. My art is deeply personal, but always evolving, and I enjoy translating people's ideas, memories, or spaces into something meaningful.
I did my Master’s in Project Management in London, but painting has always been my home. Now back in India, I’m working on building a creative space where art feels both free and grounded.
