Kiss Me

24 inches wide x 36 inches high on a gallery style canvas (1 1/2 inch thick). This painting was inspired by Robert Doisneau’s famous photograph, “The Kiss by the Hotel De Ville”. My interest was to explore each person’s mind as a kiss occurs. Are they thinking of their past, of people watching, the future or the loneliness if they didn’t kiss? Did they experience the spiral of falling in love or of being lost in the moment?
