Kilmovee in the morning by Jojorosa in London

This is a torn paper collage of Kilmovee, County Mayo in the morning. My collages are recycled from magazines where I create intricate layers of tiny torn pieces to achieve colour, depth and tone. Nothing is as it seems as I try to avoid using obvious images to replicate what I am creating, for example I'll use jeans and other blue items to create sky, but not actual images of sky or clouds. Look closely and you'll find hedgehogs to represent trees, broccoli as bushes, leopard-print as gravel and maybe even the odd hidden message.
