Keepers of Divine Secrets by Victoria Shul in London
Keepers of Divine Secrets
Is not just an image, it is an invitation to reflect on higher powers, hidden knowledge, and the role of light in our lives. It reminds us that every heart has its own doors, and the key to them lies in the hands of divine forces leading us to truth. This painting, created in oil on canvas, represents a powerful visual image filled with divine light and profound symbolism. The key that the angel holds with reverence symbolizes access to the mysteries of the universe, hidden behind the veil of earthly understanding. It embodies power and wisdom, enabling the opening of gates between realms, the unraveling of the secrets of the universe, and the exploration of the depths of the human soul.

Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomI’m Victoria Shul, a contemporary artist based in London, originally from Ukraine. I mostly work with acrylics, oils, gold leaf, textured paste, epoxy resin, and other mixed media. My process is very intuitive and emotional. I don’t always start with a clear plan; it's more about what I feel in the moment and how I can express it through layers, texture, and symbolism.
After the war started in Ukraine and I had to move to London, painting became something much more than just creativity for me. It turned into a way to process everything I was going through to heal, to ground myself, and to stay connected with who I am. That moment changed how I approach art. I began painting more actively and honestly, with a stronger emotional charge behind each piece.
My work often touches on inner transformation, feminine energy, strength, and the kind of quiet beauty that’s easy to miss in everyday life. I want people to feel something when they see my art, not just look at it, but really connect with it on some deeper level.
I didn’t go to art school. I'm self-taught, and I’ve just kept exploring and evolving over the years. I find inspiration in dreams, emotions, nature, and the way certain colours or textures can speak without words. My style moves between abstraction, symbolism, and something more spiritual and emotional.
At the core of it, I just want to make honest work something that resonates with others and reflects real experiences. I’m excited to keep growing, showing my art in new places, and connecting with people who value raw, heartfelt expression.
