K9 Zone (Panel 2) by SYYPHER in Melbourne

Panel 2 of my 3 panel large scale mural I completed at K9 Zone, a local doggy day care in Bacchus Marsh. My clients wanted this 3m x 10.2m area completed by a local artist, as the artist they had hired to complete the other walls in the facility was no longer able to complete the final wall. My clients wanted a fun, dog friendly scene based off of the local town landmark, The Avenue Of Honour, which is a string of trees planted along the main road in and out of town to commemorate the men of Bacchus Marsh who fought in WW2. They specifically wanted to include the walking track that circles the local lettuce farm just off the Avenue Of Honour, as it is a popular meeting place for locals and their pets. They also requested cartoon versions of their doggy clients to be added into the scene, which surprised and excited their human clients each week when they walked into a bit more of the mural being complete. I was lucky enough to include a caricature of my own dog in amongst the fun and mayhem in the scene. This mural took a total of 6 months to complete, as I was painting in the afternoon after closing time for a few hours 5 nights a week, which accommodated both mine and my clients schedules.
