Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomHello!!
I'm Saskia. Im based between London and Hastings and love working in loads of different styles and materials! While I had a classical training in painting and sculpture and have done loads of work as a portrait artist, I love to work on a bigger scale! I've designed and created murals both in paint, and relief sculpture in perspex and ply, up to around 8 x 10m so far. I enjoy the process of translating a brief and idea into a visual impact be it stand alone paintings/murals, or mixing materials and depth to create more of an immersive experience, or by creating and sharing a specific process that represents the brief or brand and can be shared in video content. I also make giant sculptural effigies at festivals! I am really passionate about the environment and sustainability both in subject and materials where possible. Making art from waste, natural or found materials gets me going! :) but I equally love a big space and some juicy paint.
