This portrait was quite challenging in that it was executed on a curved 3 metre high wall in a reasonably confined space that didn't afford the room to be able to stand back and view progress. Using a combination of brushes, sponging and aerosol to build layers, add warmth and tone quality to the complexion of the subject I was able to help bring dimension to her features before the addition of framed mirrored glass over her eyes (note, ruby filter applied to mirrors to reduce reflection in main image).
