This painting was inspired by Rudy's Jazzroom in Nashville. When I lived in Nashville it was one of my favorite places to go – I'd sit, drink a Negroni, and listen to some of the best jazz in the country. The neon lights reflecting against the vintage furniture was one of my favorite parts. Painted in Phoenix, AZ

Meet the Artist
Los Angeles, United StatesI'm a Los Angeles-based visual artist specializing in oil paintings with fifteen years of experience and a BFA in Painting from Florida Atlantic University. I particularly enjoy figurative and portraiture work, and my paintings tend to be dreamy, surreal and colorful. I also enjoy landscape and scenic subjects, too!
I paint on stretched canvas and cradled wood panel out of my home studio.

I also am a digital artist, specializing in photomanipulation – compiling multiple images and editing color and scale to create surreal images.
