This is a depiction of the SNL music director playing his favorite instrument per the request of the client. This mural is located on the rooftop of the “Gap” building off Lakeshore Avenue and was done completely with aerosol.
Meet the Artist
Oakland, United States"Let's make something rad!"
Darin is a self-taught artist. He has been creating aerosol murals with his signature cartoonish style, influence from his background in graffiti, and references to postmodernism for over a decade.
His fine art has two clear-cut dichotomies: one expresses a minimalistic and postmodern approach to creating abstract works and the other is much more illustrative, emphasizing his love for cartoons, pop culture & comics.
Currently residing in Oakland, CA.
