Theme : Inspiration and Aspirations
Medium : Nippon waterbase paint
I was contacted by the school to create a mural for the students' club. The ideas behind this mural comes from the students and I helped them to translate it into drawings and finally into a colourful mural. I also held a 3 day art experience class to unleash the student's creativity juices before creating the final drawings for the mural. The students and teachers painted the mural with me under my guidance. I am grateful for this experience.
Meet the Artist
Singapore, SingaporeQin is a Singaporean comic artist who draws about her life as a mother of a 4 year old gremlin, 3 senior cats and a wife to a wonderful husband and bestfriend. She graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and worked as a multimedia graphics and web designer in the corporate and education industry.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Qin was not able to commit to a full-time job due to health reasons. She decided to make lemonade out of lemons and pursue her passion of storytelling through digital illustrations, mural painting, embroidery and much more.
She believes that living in this short life span on earth is worth more when we create something beautiful and worthwhile in our own way. Contributing to inspire our future generation means so much yet we don't truly realise it.
