Infatuation Playing Tricks on Me by Sonni Rivers II in Warren

When it comes to creating art I don’t focus on a particular style or art movement. Instead my work is mostly contemporary and used as an expression of how I operate in my personal life and attempt to find meaning in some of the things I do and how I think as an individual. I use various styles from animation styles (inspired by 1990’s and 2000’s cartoons and games) to different forms of lines, calligraphy and shapes and forms to create ideas. Some of my work focuses on various subjects such as narrative art, surrealism and folk art to communicate with myself and others through them. I use this same process to communicate about some events in everyday life and to keep the figures and people in my work anonymous. I also create various portraits, landscapes, still lives and dream art using various styles while using different photography sources and researches to piece together an idealistic composition.
