Location: Robertson Park, Watsons Bay, Sydney Client: Woollahra Council (2019) “In response to the theme of Robertson Park I have taken a collection of elements – birds, Eucalyptus blossoms, foliage – from the surrounds to create the sensation of a moment of peace and quiet under the shade of one of the park’s great old trees. The play of black and white with the green mimics the dappled light coming through the leaves, for a moment capturing our attention, distracting us from our daily routine and inviting us to be mindful of all the tiny details of nature which are so omnipresent in our Australian lives.”
