This floral illustration was created on commission for my client and is intended for informational brochures to be handed out to visitors. Inspired by the idea of conveying feminine energy through floral imagery, I aimed to show how luxurious and full a rose can appear under soft, minimal lighting. I sought to express that, like people, flowers can be austere, in black and white, yet retain a unique shape and harmony. The tenderness of the human soul is conveyed through light, pastel shades, adding an air of delicacy and transparency to the concept. The choice of colors was made by the client. The illustration was created using watercolor and acrylic paints combined with pencils, allowing for a layered texture and depth of imagery. Each petal and gradient was thoughtfully crafted to evoke a sense of softness and warmth, capable of inspiring and drawing the eye, enhancing the refinement and elegance of the floral theme.
