My friend commissioned me to paint two views of her childhood home that her parents were selling and moving away from. Both views were from the front yard, one towards the house with the family’s dogs in the front yard and the other, looking away from the house, across the pool and a look into the landscape in the background. Both canvasses were around 16”x20” and I used acrylic paint.

Texas, United StatesHello !! I want to be an artist !! I started painting portraits, self taught back in high school and then went to college and studied 2D design, painting, drawing, print making, and graduated with a BFA !!
I owned a ceramics business for a few years when I had access to my own wheel and kiln. I love painting. Mostly acrylic. Mostly realism. But I really like painting portraits !! People and animals, and even architecture and landscapes. I like embroidery, beading, wire wrapping, and adding visual mending on clothes. This past year, I did my first mural, a full playroom with 30 characters !! I really like making art that has special meaning to people and am willing to give any project my best effort !!
