Hokusai mont Fuji by Maya O’Maya in Singapore

I am a Parisian artist, relocated to Singapore. I work on different supports (wall, canvas, paper, textile). I have a multidisciplinary practice (drawing and painting, installations, etc.). I work with rollers on stencils with natural pigments. I love creating in collaboration with the sponsor, making visible their vision or the story they want to tell. Between Art and Design My patterns are published by a famous wallpaper brand Isidore Leroy (Bordeaux). I also collaborate with French designers and artisans (Maison Winterstan, Mademoiselle Bon). My work is inspired by my multicultural origins and combines Taoist and animist thought with the popular culture of Africa and Asia in a harmonious dialogue. My work show the relationship between emptiness and fullness, movement and color are important in my creations
