Historical mural
The mural was created in memory of the Triple Trawler Tragedy of January-February 1968 and the Gaul trawler tragedy of February 1974. The mural is located at the Vauxhall Tavern on Hessle Road, Hull.
Some parts of the other two walls were created in collaboration with another artist.
Meet the Artist
Hull, United KingdomI am a Hull-based mural artist and painter. My work ranges from small-scale pieces to large public artworks, including murals that explore local history—such as those at the Vauxhall Tavern on Hessle Road. I work confidently across a variety of styles, from abstract to realistic, and across a wide range of scales. I'm also passionate about miniature model making and I'm always exploring new ways to create and tell stories through my art.
