Fausto recently painted some artwork on our balcony wall. He helped us develop the concept and was very patient and creative to ensure we had an amazing sketch. Throughout the painting process Fuzzy was always interacting with us to gain feedback, make any changes or discuss some new amazing options. The final product we could not be happier with. The elements, details, colours and overall finish was amazing. Fuzzy is fantastic to work with, very easy to talk to, an amazing human and we would highly recommend.

About
Born in Colombia, Fausto moved with his immediate family to Melbourne in 2000, in the hope to broaden his horizon and find more opportunities to develop his love of art. After completing his Bachelor Degree of Arts and Interactivity, he worked in Tokyo Japan for 3 months creating cell to cell animation. After returning to Melbourne his focus transition to illustration and painting. Utilising the bright, vibrant colours of his South American background and the skills and cultural influences of his time overseas, his artwork matured into the distinctive style you see today. Fausto began painting murals in 2016, with his first mural being part of the Knox Immerse exhibition. He later went on to win the ‘Best overall exhibition’ award for the Knox Immerse Exhibition in 2017 with his piece ‘Blood, Sweat, and Tears’ that highlighted the importance of women participating in sports. He has been featured in a range of publications including No Cure Magazine Fresh Blood Issue as an emerging talent, and the Herald Sun for his participation in Art battle International held at Melbourne Central in October 2019. His recent accomplishments include creating a large-scale mural for the Can’t Do Tomorrow Festival held in Melbourne 2020 and being invited to re-imagine a favourite childhood character for the Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting exhibition in 2019. Currently creating a wrap around mural outside a whole building celebrating skating culture and Songline Skateboarding team. Who are the first, First nations skateboarding team in Australia. My artwork is centred around the ideologies of humans and technology coexisting with nature. The infinitesimal chance of life inhabiting a planet is something that should be regarded in awe and the fact we are lucky enough to exist in such a place is a great inspiration to my work. The harmony between Humans and nature is a balancing act but I believe we can incorporate our advancing technologies with knowledge from our roots to achieve this. My artwork often depicts these juxtaposing themes to show that balance is possible and both sides can thrive. As I delve further into my art and the themes it represents I want to evolve to create bigger and more elaborate artwork that resonates with the community to generate interactions between people and art.

I can replicate designs if it suits my style
