HEART OF ROTTERDAM
Heart of Rotterdam presents an aerial view of Rotterdam’s iconic Feyenoord Stadium, set against the evolving skyline of the city it represents. More than a sporting venue, De Kuip stands as a symbol of identity, passion, and community, connecting generations of supporters through a shared love of football.
Executed live during the prestigious Rotterdam Ahoy Tennis Tournament in 2024, the artwork captures the dynamic energy of the city through expressive brushwork, layered textures, and a contemporary urban perspective. The contrast between the architectural structure of the stadium and the expansive Rotterdam skyline reflects the close relationship between sport, culture, and urban development.
Painted in acrylic on aluminium, the metallic surface enhances light, depth, and atmosphere, giving the work a distinctive contemporary character.
This unique original artwork was later acquired by a dedicated Feyenoord supporter, further reinforcing its connection to the club and the city.

I am passionate about exploring different forms of art, from portrait painting and mural work to digital illustration and graphic design.
In recent years, my focus has shifted primarily to acrylic painting on aluminum panels, allowing me to explore new textures and effects in my work.
