Heart of Oak by They Call Me Slang in Portland

I’m a multidisciplinary artist originally from Southern California. My first passion in art was based from a mixture of comic books, skateboarding and graffiti. I’ve been writing Graffiti since 1992 and it has been the foundation of my art career and work ethic. I’ve exhibited art in galleries and museums in the US and internationally since 2007. I’ve painted murals extensively throughout the states and abroad beginning in the 90’s. I’ve worked in the creative industry in many roles including illustration, typography, apparel design, graphic design and sculpture to name a few. I’ve worked with private collectors and with major brands including Nike, Air Jordan, Urban Outfitters, Converse and Converse SB to list a few.
