Green Girl by null in Bracknell

I created this piece after browsing through instagram and finding a reference I thought I would like to draw and so I did. It features a young woman with green hair taking a selfie with the background matching the green hair. It’s not very often I’ll draw an artwork that’s been developed using a reference as the main source. Usually I will try to make it all original as a means to develop my own understand rather than just copying. This time I felt different and I suppose maybe uninspired so I went and done something out of the ordinary to get my creative brain on. I must say I did really enjoy this piece as I managed to change my mindset, sometimes you can rely on external support/references/guidelines in order to achieve a goal, such as drawing this. The approximate time for this piece was 4.30 hours
