Green Apple Dispensary" is an imaginative 4ft x 8ft wall mural, completed within a span of 2 days. This piece stands out for its unique freestyle hand-painted approach, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to the wall it adorns. The creation process involved using a 2 inch Wooster paint brush and an assortment of tools including a scraper, ladder, liner, painter's tapes, and more, to meticulously prepare and paint the mural. The wall was primed and then coated with Behr Satin paint, ensuring a vibrant and long-lasting finish. A key step in the preparation was the cut and trimming process, which required scraping off the old paint to ensure proper adherence of the new paint. This foundational work was crucial to achieving the desired quality and durability of the mural. The concept of the mural is both whimsical and unprecedented in the context of a weed dispensary – featuring worms emerging from an apple. This idea was spontaneously conceived, highlighting my ability to create distinctive and engaging art on the fly. The playful yet edgy theme of the mural brings a unique character to the Green Apple Dispensary, setting it apart in the realm of creative and unconventional art in commercial spaces.
