Great Communicator
'In another Dreaming story, the Lyrebird is given the role of the peacemaker in the first great dispute between all creatures. As a reward, the spirits gave the Lyrebird the ability to be the only animal able to communicate to all the other animals.'
The colours and patterns of the two lyrates intertwining upwards also represent the native Red Belly Black Snake, seen often in the area during the warmer months.
The impressive filamentaries can be conceptual to the lightning strikes that scorch our beautiful land and can be seen for kilometres across the outback.
Meet the Artist
Sydney, AustraliaArtist from Western Sydney. As well as having his work spread all across his local town, Shannon has worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and the Gold Coast in his young career. He specialises in detailed works that explore and combine different styles of realism, with a strength and focus on large scale portraiture. From pencil, charcoal, prismacolor and digital art, to acrylic and aerosol paintings of various sizes, he has the flexibility to create works of high quality across a range of mediums. Shannon loves working closely with all clients and always aims to produce engaging artworks for individuals, businesses, communities, and families in order to maximise, transform and enhance their visual space.
