This was a commission for a client, who wanted a milestone portrait for her husband, to commemorate his grandfather's life (the husband is the boy in the portrait, posing with his grandfather). Her feedback on his reaction upon his first viewing of the portrait said that he was teary, and that he loved it.

Meet the Artist
North Adelaide, AustraliaI am an artist working out of North Adelaide, South Australia. I work in a variety of media, like oils, gouache, charcoal and graphite. While I have painted a wide range of subjects that include local views/architecture and pet portraits, my favourite subjects are definitely human interest – it’s so satisfying to make a connection with a collector or a client when I’ve created a personal portrait, captured a family moment, or helped add spice to a couple’s home with some custom boudoir art. I’ve exhibited both domestically in Australia, and overseas in Europe, and have run workshops for numerous art groups and societies.
