Meet the Artist
Joensuu, FinlandI’m a painter/illustrator located currently in Peoria, IL. I have been creating all my life but really started to hone in on my painting and illustrating work in 2021, when I authored and illustrated my first children’s book. I find most of my inspiration in nature and community and feel that my art highlights these through use of color and whimsy. I enjoy watching the story and details come along as I work. If you were to come over for dinner, you would see my home is filled floor to ceiling with murals that provoke joy and comfort. I’ve gladly done mural work for local businesses and residents of my community. My most recent achievement was winning a logo design contest for our local library! I’ve also continued to work on watercolor portraits for friends, family, and clients since 2022. Check out some of my work and let’s see what we can come up with together!
