Hello everyone, my name is Richard, I'm a digital artist. I work in storyboarding and illustration for anime studios and clients all over the world. In my spare time, I create digital illustrations.
I was born in Martinique in 1988. As for my background, I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. For as long as I can remember, my family, teachers and classmates have told me that drawing was my “gift”, thanks in particular to Dragon Ball Z, which motivated me to continue practicing.
I spent all my free time drawing, and in my last year of high school, I had to accept the fact that I loved drawing too much not to make a career of it.
So I chose animation and enrolled in the animation curriculum at the École Emile Cohl (in Lyon, France).
I studied there for 4 years and graduated from the Paul Grimault class in 2011 with my final project EN BEL SO. I started out as a Storyboard Artist and worked for studios such as Studio HARI, JSBC, Zodiak Kids and Xilam Animation. I took part in series such as La Chouette & Cie, Boyster, Get Blake, Zig et Sharko, and Moka. In 2015, I even moved to London to work on the Cartoon Network series The Incredible World of Gumball. Alongside my storyboard work, I've always done personal paintings and drawings in my spare time. These illustrations not only show my art, they also offer a glimpse into my creative world. I started out as a freelancer, producing illustrations for the animation industry, singers like ELHAE, the US book industry and other clients. Since 2022, I've been working in the video game industry and am currently the Character Designer for the project The Run: Got Next created by the studio Play by Play in the USA.
