SNUG has been a freelance artist, accomplished muralist and illustrator for 30 years. He studied art and design at both Chelsea and Byam Shaw Schools of Art.
He is a talented, passionate and hard working artist who has a long track record of creating vibrant and superb artwork through a variety of mediums, including airbrush, spray paint and digital media.
SNUG has had numerous high profile commissions, including painting the centennial history of Moorfields Eye Hospital opened by H.M. the Queen in 1999. He appeared on the front cover of the 34th edition of "Graphotism", a leading street art/graffiti magazine which includes a number of his more well known works. He has painted for demonstration at The Mall galleries, The Barbican, The Swiss Embassy, S.E.1, Urban Games, Brockwell Park, Clissold Park and private parties. He has undertaken commissions for Hugo Boss, Absolut Vodka, Makers Mark Whisky, L'Oreal, Rise Recruitment, “Damage” Hairdressers, Brighton,”Children of Vision” Hairdressers, Portobello Road, Fresh Egg Digital Marketing, Glastonbury Festival, The Big Chill Festival, Lovebox Festival, Groundwork London, Hammersmith & Fulham Council, private garden murals, interior murals and tattoo designs.
He has exhibited at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms, alongside international artists Futura, Stash, Delta and Stet. The “Boy Soldiers” group show with Schoony at the Graffik Gallery, Portobello Road, Cork Street Galleries, The Muse Gallery, Portobello Road. “Art in the Age of Now” at Fulham Town Hall. “ They Made Me Do It” Collective. “Best Of British” at the Britism Gallery, Westbourne Park Road, alongside international artists Banksy, SoloOne, State of Art/Airheads Design, Part2 and Pulse.
SNUG is a highly focused and innovative artist with a tremendous eye for detail and takes an extraordinary amount of care and attention into any work that he creates. He continues to work from his studio in Southwest London.
