I am a Los Angeles-based, self-taught photorealist painter, originally from Russia. Art has always been my calling and hobby, starting casually during my school days. However, my serious artistic journey began with the birth of my children, who inspired my early works—vivid portrayals of them in their favorite cartoons, using colorful ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, and gouache. As I transitioned to acrylic paints, my artistic scope broadened to include my favorite rock bands and movie scenes, often integrating my family into these compositions. This evolution in my style seamlessly blends my personal experiences with elements of popular culture. I strive to capture beauty in all its forms, whether in human features or nature. Friends and clients often remark on the difficulty in distinguishing my paintings from photographs, as I focus on each detail to bring scenes to life. My recent projects have included portraits, landscapes of Los Angeles, scenes from Burning Man, and anything else that sparks my passion. Recently, I've discovered a passion for wall painting, which has added a new dimension to my work. Inspired by California's diverse natural landscapes, my latest works showcase this scenery with photorealistic precision, resonating with a broad audience.
